Tagansky district court of Moscow fined Google for 3.8 million rubles, having found the company guilty of committing an administrative offense. This was reported on February 17 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

"By the decision of the Tagansky district court of Moscow GOOGLE LLC (GOOGLE LLC) was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 2 of article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of Russia <...> and imposed an administrative penalty in the form of an administrative fine of 3.8 million rubles," - follows from the publication in the Telegram-channel.

Such a decision was taken due to the posting on YouTube of a number of videos, including those with instructions on surrender for Russian servicemen participating in the special operation, TASS reports.

The agency also noted that Google did not respond to demands to remove the relevant materials, in connection with which an offense report was drawn up.

Google and its information resources have been repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for violation of the Russian legislation. For example, on January 14, it was reported that the Chertanovsky Moscow court fined Google more than 8 billion rubles for evading administrative punishment. And on November 18, 2024, a court in Moscow fined Google 3.8 million rubles for failure to remove prohibited information.
