viju+ Sport TV channel will exclusively broadcast the Top-16 European Table Tennis Cup. This is a prestigious individual tournament in which sixteen top-ranked European athletes in men's and women's singles will play. Spectacular competitions are waiting for viewers live from February 20 to 23.

The European Top-16 Cup will be held for the 54th time. The venue of the elite table tennis tournament will traditionally be Montreux - the pearl of the Swiss Riviera. This year athletes and spectators will enjoy a lot of innovations. In particular, the matches will be held on one table, which will allow to see absolutely all the games live. In addition, the earlier restriction on the participation of only two athletes from one country has been canceled. This ensures that the best tennis players in Europe will compete for the Cup without artificial quotas.

On Thursday, February 20, the qualification rounds will take place live. Eight players in men's and women's singles, ranked 15-22 in the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) rankings, will be allowed to qualify. The athletes will play two rounds under an elimination system. Two winners in each division will advance to the main draw of the European Top-16 Cup.

On Friday, February 21, the spectators will be waiting for: 1/8 finals matches among men and women will start in the afternoon, and will end at midnight. On the weekend comes the time of decisive battles - on Saturday, February 22, quarterfinals will be held, and on Sunday, February 23, spectators will see the semifinals and finals. All matches will be played in the "Best of 5" format - up to three sets won.

The venue for the tournament will be the Arena Du Pierre-Montreux. In 2025, the designers renovated it especially for the European Top-16 Cup and patented their innovations for use exclusively for this tournament and only in Montreux.

The men's and women's championships will be contested by the athletes ranked in the European Top 16 as of February. There are only stars here, including Olympic medalists: Sweden's Truls Moregard, Frenchman Felix Lebrun and his brother Alexis - European champion, table tennis legends Dmitry Ovcharov and Chu Dang. Defending their last year's title will be French tennis player Jia Nan Yuan and Darko Jorgic from Slovenia, who took the European Top 16 Cup three times in a row.

From February 20-23, viewers will see all 42 matches of the tournament. On Thursday and Friday, the live broadcasts will start at 12:25 Moscow time. Saturday's quarterfinals will start at 12:55. The schedule of the Cup's main matches on Sunday will change slightly: the men's and women's semifinals will take place at 11:55 a.m., while the finals and the honoring of the winners will take place at 15:55. Watch the European Top-16 Cup exclusively on viju+ Sport TV channel.
