The state company announced the abolition of fines for long travel along M-11 earlier this month in its Telegram channel.

The rule of the maximum tariff when staying more than two hours between points of entry and exit from the highway with the total length of the route less than 50 km was introduced to combat fraudsters who evade paying the toll. Now Avtodor has introduced an automatic fare recognition system to eliminate the use of fraudulent schemes, as well as getting conscientious motorists into a situation with the assignment of the maximum tariff on the sections from Solnechnogorsk to St. Petersburg.

The state company also announced that from February 17 it will carry out annual indexation of tariffs and subscriptions for travel on toll road sections. On average, the cost of 1 kilometer traveled on Avtodor's network of highways will increase within the limits of inflation "and, depending on the road, will remain well below the limits set by law," the company said.
