Russian military destroyed an Abrams tank and a NASAMS installation in the Kursk border region

The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a US Abrams tank, a launcher and a radar station of the Norwegian surface-to-air missile system NASAMS, which belonged to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 17.

"Over the day, the AFU losses amounted to more than 300 servicemen, four tanks were destroyed, including one US-made Abrams tank, <...> the launcher and radar station of the Norwegian-made NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system," the ministry said in a statement.
