AvtoVAZ explained the removal of Lada Vesta Cross from the assembly line

AvtoVAZ is preparing a kit update for the Lada Vesta model in various modifications. This was reported to Izvestia on February 17 in the press service of the company in response to a query about why in the price lists of the family "Vesta" opposite a lot of kits of the 2024 model year appeared the mark "not produced", including all versions of Vesta Cross.

"AvtoVAZ is constantly working on expanding the equipment of its cars. An update is planned for the specified configurations. It is worth noting that Lada Vesta in the specified configurations is available at dealers," the press service of AvtoVAZ told Izvestia.

Thus, the mark "not produced" appeared opposite all three Vesta Cross configurations with 1.6 and 1.8 engines. In the sedan Vesta, a similar note appeared opposite seven versions of the model out of 11. As follows from the price lists, the Vesta SW model is not available in eight modifications out of 10, and Vesta SW Cross - in three out of five (only base versions of Life'24 remain).

Earlier this year, AvtoVAZ announced that the company has 15 major product events planned for 2025, including the launch of all-new models and updates to existing models.

On February 14, AvtoVAZ said that the acceleration time from zero to one hundred in the Lada Niva Sport has been reduced by five seconds compared to the classic Niva Legend, and the top speed has increased by 20 km/h. Lada Niva Sport is equipped with a 1.6-liter 16-valve engine from Granta Sport with an output of 122 hp. The standard Niva has a 1.7-liter eight-valve engine with an output of 83 hp.

January 27, "Izvestia" found out the terms of the beginning of sales of a new sporty modification of the classic SUV Lada Niva. Pre-production of the model began in late December last year.
