Former Georgian prime minister thrown eggs after returning from Munich conference

The former prime minister left the airport by car, and soon his party accused the ruling Georgian Dream of sending a prearranged party "probe group" to meet him, which was facilitated by the complete inaction of the pre-notified police.
Earlier, on February 15, the leader of the party "For Georgia" Giorgi Gakharia was beaten up in Batumi. The politician was beaten at the Sheraton Hotel and then the injured Gakharia was taken to a clinic. Doctor Tako Shantadze, who treated Gakharia at the hospital, said that he had a broken nasal bone and a concussion.
