The forces that do not want peace in Ukraine are now uniting in Europe. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told reporters after talks with his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu on February 17.

"We have to admit that in Europe now those sides that do not want peace are joining forces," TASS quoted him as saying.

He added that Hungary welcomes the talks between the US and Russian Federation to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier, on February 14, US Vice President J.D. Vance, during a speech at the conference, emphasized the crisis in Europe, which, in his opinion, was provoked by the Europeans themselves. Vance cited as an example of mass immigration in the EU, the record scale of which, according to him, is due to a deliberate policy of the authorities conducted over a decade.

Before that, on February 13, US President Donald Trump announced a meeting of representatives of Russia, the US and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia. The media reported that high-ranking representatives of Moscow and Washington might meet in the Arab kingdom in late February to prepare a summit between the two presidents.
