Telegram channel administrator detained in Moscow Region on suspicion of extortion

The administrator of a Telegram channel was detained in the Moscow region on suspicion of extorting 16 million rubles. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk on February 17.

According to her, the attackers created a media resource to publish information about financial and credit organizations, which allegedly carry out money transfer operations using the sites of illegal online casinos.
