The Moscow regional branch of the Russian Student Squads (RSO), which was created for students and schoolchildren involved in activities around the country and beyond, become winners and prize-winners in professional competitions. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin on February 17, on the day of celebration of the Russian student detachments.

"Since 2022, the number of participants of the movement has increased by 33%: more than 150 squads are functioning, joined by young Muscovites from 80 city educational organizations," he noted in Telegram-channel.

According to the mayor, every Moscow student or schoolchild aged 14 and older can become a member of the squads. In addition, an expanded list of professions is offered, in which teenagers can try themselves as counselors, guides, orderlies and nurses, as well as archaeologists, restorers, zootechnicians. In addition, veterinarians and in the direction of construction professions.

The Moscow regional branch of the RSO is one of the leading youth organizations of the capital. The very movement of the Russian Student Squads appeared 65 years ago.

Earlier in the day Sobyanin said that the RSO includes more than 3 thousand people. He noted that now the participants of the capital's student squads are working at the International Exhibition-Forum "Russia" at VDNKh.
