Russian Armed Forces artillerymen destroyed AFU armored vehicles in the North Caucasus Defense Forces zone

The Uragan multiple rocket launchers of the self-propelled artillery regiment of the Guards Tank Army of the "West" group of forces destroyed a cluster of armored vehicles and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as well as a temporary deployment point (TDP) of the enemy in the zone of the special military operation (SMO).

While conducting aerial reconnaissance, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) team detected a cluster of Ukrainian fighters and AFU armored vehicles camouflaged in a forest belt. The coordinates of the targets were passed to the MLRS team. The artillerymen moved to the area of combat use, took up firing positions, deployed their combat vehicles and aimed them at the targets, after which they fired 220-millimeter rockets at a distance of more than 25 kilometers.

As a result of hitting the uncovered targets, the enemy suffered losses in armored vehicles and manpower. At the same time, the correction of artillery fire and recording the destruction of targets was carried out with the help of UAV calculations, which in real time transmitted the results of the fire defeat to the artillery command post.

"Today we received a target, quickly drove to the firing position, took it, oriented ourselves and a temporary enemy deployment point was hit," said a senior officer of the rocket battery with the call sign Kama.

After the live firing, the crews changed their firing positions to alternate ones in order to avoid retaliatory fire from the enemy.
