Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Vostok group of troops have struck temporary deployment sites, accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of Konstantinopol, Skudnoye and Dniproenergiya settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 17.

At the same time, the correction of artillery fire and recording the destruction of targets in the southern Donetsk direction of the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone were carried out with the help of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) calculations. They transmitted the results of the firing to command posts in real time.

As the ministry noted, Russian units of the grouping continue to advance deep into the enemy's defenses, expanding the zone of control to the north and northwest of Velikaya Novosyolka.

Also, long-range MLRS calculations provide fire support to attacking aircraft, destroying accommodation points, disrupting the supply of materiel and manpower, disrupting the enemy's logistics in the rear area.

On the eve it became known that the Russian Armed Forces (AF) destroyed a 155-millimeter Bogdana self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) of the AFU near the Kushugum locality using a Lancet barrage munition. Images of the burned enemy gun are at the disposal of Izvestiya.
