In the SSO zone, support units use special buggies for fuel delivery and refueling. Colonel Vladimir Demirov, head of the Rocket Fuel and Fuels Directorate of the Resource Support Department of the Russian Defense Ministry, told Izvestia.

In Russia, the Day of the Fuel Service of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation is celebrated on February 17.

Earlier "Izvestia" wrote that several new pipeline brigades will be created in the Russian army. The principle decision on their formation has already been made in the Ministry of Defense.

These compounds are needed to supply troops with all kinds of fuel and water during large-scale combat operations. In addition to solving military tasks, they have repeatedly come to the aid of civilians during emergencies. Separate pipeline brigades were created in the Russian army after the Great Patriotic War.
