Trufanov's mother thanked Russian Federation for efforts to free him from hostages

The mother of Russian Alexander Trufanov, who returned from captivity in Gaza, expressed her gratitude to the Russian authorities for their assistance in his release. The Ynet portal reported on February 16.
"I thank the Russian authorities and, in particular, the Russian ambassador to Israel [Anatoly Viktorov] for their efforts," the Russian's mother said.
She specified that Trufanov's release was a true "miracle."
In addition, she called on the Russian government to continue fighting for the speedy release of Maxim Harkin, a native of Donbass, who is in Gaza.
Trufanov was captured a week before the date set at the consulate to receive the document. On February 15, he was handed over to the Red Cross staff. In addition to him, US citizen Sagi Dekel Hen and Israeli Yair Horn were released.
