- The Russian Defense Ministry told about the feats of Russian servicemen in the NWO zone

On February 17, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) in the zone of the special military operation (SMO).
The ministry noted that Warrant Officer Arthur Dilimarsky, acting as part of a motorized rifle company, carried out a combat mission to defend one of the strongholds that had been taken from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the offensive.
The enemy repeatedly attacked the Russian positions in an attempt to retake the stronghold. Dilimarsky promptly provided first aid to wounded servicemen and participated in the transportation of the injured to a safe zone. The warrant officer also personally destroyed three enemy FPV drones. Thanks to his actions, eight Russian fighters were rescued during the repulsion of AFU attacks.
In addition, the Defense Ministry drew attention to the merits of Lieutenant Dmitry Zavyalov. After securing the strongholds recaptured from the enemy, he organized the defense of the new borders taking into account the terrain conditions.
The company under the command of Zavyalov destroyed most of the advancing infantrymen of the AFU, thereby inflicting significant damage to the enemy. After that, the remnants of the enemy forces were forced to retreat. As a result, the motorized riflemen managed to securely entrench themselves at the given point and prevent the AFU from breaking through to the positions.
On February 15, the Defense Ministry reported that a drone unit of a separate battalion of the 51st Guards Army of the Southern Military District destroyed an American-made M-113 armored personnel carrier and AFU manpower on the Dzerzhinsky direction of the special operation. It was noted that UAV operators conduct reconnaissance 24 hours a day, determining the location of enemy equipment, firepower and personnel.
