Pushilin reported on the "cutting" of the AFU defense in the Krasnoarmeysk direction

Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces are "cutting" the Ukrainian militants' defenses in the Krasnoarmeysk direction. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) Denis Pushilin on Sunday, February 16.

"As for the Krasnoarmeysk direction, we see the cutting of the enemy's defense, the cutting of the enemy grouping," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The head of the region indicated that in a number of areas the Russian military came to the highway Krasnoarmeysk-Konstantinovka, stating their successes. At the same time, it is "critically important" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to hold on to this direction, Pushilin pointed out.

According to the DNR leader, Russian troops are advancing in the Velikonovoselkivskyi direction, where battles are being fought for every wooded area, Gazeta.Ru added.
