In St. Petersburg, a resident broke the glass with his feet to get out of the streetcar. This was reported by a source of "Izvestia" on February 16.

The act of vandalism was caught on video. The footage shows the passenger purposefully damaging the glazing.

According to the interlocutor, the incident occurred in the evening of February 14, a couple of hours before the 60th anniversary of the St. Petersburg resident. On the eve of the anniversary, he drank a lot and decided to take a ride on public transport.

"During the trip, the man had a conflict with the streetcar driver. As a result, the passenger broke the glass with his feet, went out through the resulting hole into the street and fled," he specified.

The offender was detained the next morning, on his birthday. A criminal case has been opened under the article on hooliganism.

January 11, Moscow prosecutor's office reported that in the capital's subway at the station "Tverskaya" a man did not have time to enter the car and broke the window of the train. The identity of the offender was established. A criminal case under article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Vandalism") was opened against the man.
