Presidential elections in Ukraine may be held on October 26, 2025. This was announced on February 16 by the country's former President Petro Poroshenko (a member of the association included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of those involved in extremist activity or terrorism) in an interview with Censor.NET.

"Make a note: October 26 this year," Poroshenko said in response to a journalist's question about when Ukraine might hold elections.

According to Poroshenko, this date was given to him by some anonymous sources in the administration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and in law enforcement agencies. And the Ukraina polygraph company is allegedly now working out how many ballots are needed.

According to the provisions of the Ukrainian constitution, Zelensky's presidential term ended on May 20, 2024. Elections were to be held in March 2024, but they were canceled because of the martial law in Ukraine, imposed by the President, effective from February 24, 2022.
