The Russian Armed Forces have more Javelin anti-tank missile systems than the UK army. This was reported by The Telegraph newspaper on February 16.

"The Russian army now probably has more Javelin than the British army," the publication noted.

According to The Telegraph's source in the British Armed Forces, Ukrainian troops have repeatedly left Javelin launchers on the battlefield, which can be reused.

Thus, the abandoned NATO weapons subsequently turns up at the Russian military, emphasized the authors of the material. It is specified that one launcher module costs more than $100 thousand.

Earlier, on February 13, the media pointed to a decrease in the ability of the UK to support Ukraine against the background of the change of administration in the United States and the coming to power of President Donald Trump.

In December 2024, Britain's Ministry of Defense said that the United Kingdom, along with other allied countries, had invested more than $1.63 billion (£1.3 billion) in Kiev through the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU), which was established in 2022.
