Journalist Carlson laughed after Orban's words about undermining Nord Streams

American journalist Tucker Carlson laughed after the words of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban about the indecisiveness of the FRG amid the diversion of the Nord Streams. The interview with the politician was published on February 14 on Carlson's YouTube channel.
The journalist asked how NATO could still exist, given that the alliance's largest country, the United States, has essentially committed an "act of industrial terrorism" against the bloc's second country, Germany.
"If it had happened to Hungary, there would have been an uproar, no doubt about it. But, you see, this is Germany," Orban replied, after which the interviewer could not contain his laughter.
On February 3, the German party Alternative for Germany (AdG) published its election program, in which it included a demand for the immediate lifting of anti-Russian sanctions and the restoration of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. In addition, the AdG pointed to an increasing divergence between the interests of Germany and the United States.
At the end of December last year, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic suggested that the United States might want to acquire Nord Stream within a year in order to supply gas from Russia to Europe. However, Igor Yushkov, an analyst at the National Energy Security Fund, considered this scenario unlikely.
Leaks at the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 pipelines were discovered in September 2022. Two powerful underwater explosions were registered at the pipelines. Traces of explosives were found at the accident site. Russia is seeking an international investigation into the terrorist attacks. In February 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Carlson that the CIA was responsible for the explosions.
