- Kellogg says U.S. plans to destroy Russian Federation's allied ties with three countries

TheUnited States wants to break Russia's alliances with North Korea, China and Iran, US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg said at the Munich Security Conference on February 16.
He said Moscow has formed alliances with Pyongyang, Tehran and Beijing over the past few years. Kellogg added that it is very important for the U.S. to prevent these alliances from expanding.
Last May, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted Russian President Vladimir Putin 's words that relations with China are non-confrontational and not directed against third countries, but pursue the sole goal of improving the well-being of the peoples of the two countries. He emphasized that Moscow and Beijing in the international arena play the role of a weighty equalizer to hold the balance in light of the unstable situation between other countries in the world.
Afterward, in November, Peskov said that Russia does not understand Trump's desire to "disengage" Russia and China if he wins the election. He emphasized that cooperation between Russia and China is aimed solely at the interests of the two countries.
