The plane with Russian tourists flying from Egypt, which was stuck for more than 10 hours in Poland, flew to Kaliningrad, Rosaviatsia spokesman Artem Korenyako said on February 16.

"The Airbus A321 plane of the Egyptian carrier AlMasria Universal Airlines departed from Poznan airport (Poland) at 11:55 Moscow time and set a course for Kaliningrad (Khrabrovo airport)," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Korenyako, the reason for the landing of the plane in Poland was unfavorable weather conditions in the Kaliningrad region.

Earlier, Russian tourists told Izvestia that for more than 10 hours they could not fly to Kaliningrad from the Polish city of Poznan, where a plane from Egypt had landed instead of Khrabrovo airport.

Travelers said that they were not let out of the plane, and as a meal each was given a bun.

In addition, it was specified that due to the situation with the plane, Kaliningrad residents, who had been waiting for their board at Khrabrovo airport all night, could not go on vacation.

January 21, it was reported that Russian tourists could not fly to Moscow from Havana, Cuba. Then what was happening was not explained either in the airline or at the airport, and only 12 hours later all travelers were redirected, presumably, to one of the local hotels. The next day the flight was performed.
