A civilian was injured during shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) of the village of Korenevo in Kursk Region. This was reported on February 16 by Alexander Khinshtein, the regional governor's proxy.

"Today the enemy shelled the village of Korenevo, a 67-year-old man was hit in the yard of his house," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

Hinshtein specified that the fasted was taken to the hospital.

"We are pushing the enemy away from Horlivka so that they don't shell civilians."
