In Ingushetia, a case of attempted murder of the ex-deputy chief of the State Department of Internal Affairs has been opened in Ingushetia

A criminal case has been opened in the town of Sunzha, Republic of Ingushetia, over the attempted murder of the former deputy chief of the city department of internal affairs of Karabulak. This was announced by the press service of the Investigative Department (ID) of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the republic on February 16.

"The investigative department for Sunzhensky district of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Ingushetia initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of article 30, part. 1 article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder")", - follows from the statement.

According to investigators, on the night of February 15, an unknown person fired at least seven shots, causing a man a through wound of the thigh. The attacker was unable to bring the intended crime to the end and fled the scene.

At the moment, the former law enforcer is receiving the necessary medical care at hospital in Nazran, and his life is not in danger.

On the same day, the Izvestiya source reported an attempted murder of Karabulak. The published footage shows how the killer ran out of the car and opened fire on one of the passing men. According to one of the law enforcers' versions, members of the Batalhadzhin terrorist organization (banned in Russia) may be involved in the attack.
