The FSB arrested a resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur for transferring data to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR

FSB officers have arrested a resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, who passed information about the regional defense enterprise in the interests of Ukraine. This was reported by the FSB of Russia in Khabarovsk Krai on February 16.

"It is established that the Komsomolsk resident proactively through the network "Internet" contacted representatives of the main department of intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and transferred information revealing the activities of the defense enterprise of the Khabarovsk region, with the purpose of using this information against the security of the Russian Federation and its armed forces", - stated in the message of the department.

It is noted that a criminal case under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High Treason") has been initiated on this fact. At the same time, the investigation continues.

A Crimean resident was detained for transferring information about Russian military facilities on the territory of the republic to the special services of Ukraine. As reported on February 14 in the main department of the Federal Security Service of Russia on the Black Sea Fleet, the judicial board of criminal cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea found him guilty in absentia under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High Treason"), he was sentenced to 13 years and 2 months in a strict regime colony, with restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year and 8 months and a fine of 350 thousand rubles.
