Starmer said of Britain's help to the U.S. and Europe to remain allies

British Prime Minister Keith Starmer said that London would provide all possible assistance to the countries of Europe and the United States in order to prevent a split between them. This was reported by the broadcasting corporation "BBC"(BBC) on February 16.
"The UK will work to preserve the unity of the United States and Europe," Starmer said.
In addition, the head of the British government specified that such a situation in the national security sphere happens "once in a generation". He added that Europe needs to pay more attention to the "NATO game" while working together with the United States.
Starmer also said that Britain would also try to prevent a split in the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO), which is now confronting "external enemies."
According to the broadcaster, the head of the British government is expected to outline his thoughts on relations between Europe and the United States during a future meeting with U.S. leader Donald Trump, which is scheduled to take place in Washington in late February.
The day before, the Axios agency reported that Trump's statements are "stifling and overwhelming" the European states. According to the publication, the relations between the U.S. president and the countries of Europe have become especially acute after American Vice President J.D. Vance spoke at the Munich Security Conference on February 14, where he emphasized the crisis in Europe, which, in his opinion, was provoked by the European countries themselves.
