Handelsblatt pointed to Europe's defeat in the Ukrainian conflict

Europe has found itself at a strategic loss in the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the Handelsblatt newspaper on 14 February.

It is noted that Europe has failed to achieve its own goals in Ukraine and has caused itself great damage, so it cannot defend its interests.

"This is a strategic and political failure of the first order," the publication said.

As the newspaper pointed out, European countries should not be surprised if they let other states decide their own future.
