"Spartak" defeated "Torpedo" in the regular KHL championship match

Moscow hockey club Spartak defeated Torpedo from Nizhny Novgorod in a regular season Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) match on February 15. The meeting ended with a score of 7:4.

The club from Moscow was able to rehabilitate from the score 0:4 in favor of the Nizhny Novgorod team.

Forward Alexander Belyaev scored two goals for the winners (46th and 53rd minutes). In addition, Spartak scored one goal each from forwards Pavel Polyardin, Ansel Galimov, Nikolay Goldobin and Mikhail Maltsev and midfielder Andrei Loktionov.

Defensemen Keaton Thompson, Bogdan Konyushkov, and Anton Silayev scored goals for Nizhny Novgorod HC after only 46 seconds of the game. In addition, the puck was scored by Torpedo forward Kirill Voronin.

The Moscow club is currently third in the Western Conference standings with 70 points in 54 games. Torpedo is in eighth place with 62 points.
