As a result of an accident at an illegally exploited gold mine in western Mali at least 48 people were killed. About it on February 15 writes the magazine Barrons with reference to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

"The death toll from the collapse amounted to 48 people," the publication said.

Theexplosion at the Knurow-Szczyglowice mine in Poland occurred on January 22. It is reported that as a result of the emergency suffered 10 people. Many of them received burns of varying severity. A total of 44 people were in the mine.
