At least 15 people killed in India in crush due to train delays


As a result of a crush at a railway station in New Delhi at least 15 people died, including three children. This was reported on February 15 by NDTV TV channel with reference to local authorities.
It is specified that the crush occurred due to the influx of passengers after the delay of two trains. Among the dead are also listed 10 women and two men.
To manage the situation, 4 fire engines were sent to the railroad station and additional security forces were deployed. According to local authorities, the situation is under control. They said an investigation into the incident will be conducted.
As a result of the crush at the Kumbha Mela festival in the Indian city of Prayagraj on January 29, at least 15 people died. In addition, according to Channel News Asia, many participants of the event were hospitalized, some of them in serious condition.
