The Russian Defense Ministry told about the feats of Russian fighters in the zone of conducting the Strategic Air Defense Forces

On February 16, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of Russian army servicemen in the zone of the special military operation (SMO).

For example, the commander of a motorized rifle company, junior lieutenant Yury Dobryakov, together with the company entrusted to him, arrived on time at the positions held by Russian attack aircraft despite continuous small arms and mortar fire and attacks by FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Having competently distributed the motorized riflemen to firing points, Dobryakov organized the defense at the strongholds, which made it possible to repel the Ukrainian fighters' attacks for several hours.

Having suffered significant losses in manpower, the enemy was forced to abandon its plans to regain lost positions and retreat.

The ministry also reported about the feat of Sergeant Alexander Ivlikov, a grenade launcher of the assault platoon, who carried out a combat mission to capture an enemy stronghold in an important tactical direction.

Having entered into fire contact with the enemy, Ivlikov destroyed two AFU fighters, after which, having stealthily approached the enemy's long-term firing point at the shortest possible distance, threw grenades at it. As a result of the explosion, the enemy's machine gun crew was destroyed and the ammunition detonated, which made a hole in the defensive lines of the AFU fighters.

Taking advantage of the situation, the attackers stormed the stronghold and, having cleared it, held it until the arrival of the main forces.

On February 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the liquidation of four AFU brigades in the SSO zone by the "South" grouping of troops. Russian servicemen destroyed a motorized infantry, assault and two mechanized brigades of the AFU in the areas of Kramatorsk, Ivanopolye, Pleshcheyevka and Konstantinovka.
