In the Altai Republic after the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4, a high alert mode was introduced. This was announced by the head of the region Andrei Turchak on February 15.

"Introduced in the Republic of the high alert mode. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 1.3 km from the village of Beltir. There are no casualties. In Kosh-Agach and Ulagan districts today canceled classes in schools and mass events," - wrote Turchak in his Telegram-channel.
