Italian singer Al Bano invited to perform at the concert on Red Square

Italian pop singer Al Bano was offered to take part in a concert on Red Square. This was reported on February 14 by the Italian news agency ANSA.

"Be ready by the end of August or early September, because we will give a concert in the name of peace," the agency quoted the singer's manager as saying.

Al Bano noted that the invitation was "wonderful news" for him. He emphasized that the real probability of such a concert in Moscow follows from the conversation between American leader Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. In addition, as the singer added, his manager has never made mistakes.

In an interview with Izvestia on November 18, 2024, Al Bano reported on his dream to perform in Donbass and on Red Square to call for peace. The singer stated that he is ready to give concerts for free. The Italian also noted his warm feelings towards Russia and recalled that he had personally met with the leaders of our country several times.
