Russian Navy ships arrive in Indonesia to participate in naval exercises


A detachment of ships of the Russian Navy (Navy) consisting of corvettes "Rezky" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) in support of the medium sea tanker (MST) "Pechenga" arrived at the roadstead of the Bali Island of the Republic of Indonesia to participate in the multilateral naval exercise "Komodo-2025". This was reported by the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Defense Ministry on February 15.
Upon arrival at the designated anchorage area, Russian sailors hoisted the national flags of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Indonesia.
The opening ceremony of the exercise will be held on February 16. The Russian delegation will be headed by Admiral Vladimir Vorobyov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy.
In the exercise "Komodo-2025", organized by the Indonesian Navy, it is planned participation of warships and observers from more than 30 countries.
On February 7, a detachment of the Talnakh Concentrator Fleet ships comprising the corvettes Rezky and Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov in support of the SMT Pechenga conducted air defense exercises and replenished water and fuel supplies on the move in the South China Sea.
