Investors have built almost 60 sports facilities in Moscow over five years

In Moscow since 2020 investors have built 58 sports facilities in all administrative districts. This was reported on Friday, February 14, by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of the capital on urban policy and construction.
According to him, the total area of objects amounted to about 480 thousand square meters. m. Only in 2024 investors have built 11 buildings of sports infrastructure with a total area of more than 64 thousand square meters, reports the agency of city news "Moscow". The official specified that these are landmark objects and district FOC. They include the multifunctional complex "Chkalov Arena" with an area of almost 33 thousand square meters and the ice palace "Crystal" with an area of almost 25 thousand square meters in "Luzhniki", writes NSN.
The construction of all sports facilities in the capital is under the control of the Committee of State Construction Supervision of Moscow (Mosgosstroynadzor), according to the website kp.ru.
February 13, it became known that the right to place a non-capital sports facility in Zelenograd was put up for a city auction. The winner of the auction within three years will be able to install on the allotted plot of soccer arena, tennis court, volleyball court or another sports facility from the list approved by Moskomsportom
