A road accident in Nigeria left 23 people dead and 28 injured

The overturn of a truck carrying people and goods on an overpass in the Nigerian city of Kano has killed 23 people and injured 48 others of varying severity. Vanguard newspaper reported this on February 14.
"No fewer than 23 passengers were killed in a terrible car accident involving a truck <...> 48 people were injured," the newspaper said in a piece.
It is specified that the driver of the truck exceeded the level of permissible speed, in connection with which he lost control and caused the truck to overturn.

On the same day it was reported that in Peru two people were killed and 38 injured when the bus fell off the bridge. The bridge broke into three parts and the bus was left in the lowest one, causing the waters of the Chancay River to flood it.
