Wounded in an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Channel One cameraman Yuri Sholmov said on February 14 that he felt fine.

"Everything is fine with me, now the doctors have looked at the wound again, I am having it bandaged, disinfected and wrapped up," Sholmov said.

He specified that after he fully recovers from the injury, he will return to work.

The published footage shows the moment when the drone hit the operator when he was traveling with journalists through a forest belt in the Sujansky district of Kursk region.

On that day, the deputy head of Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein reported that the crew of Channel One was attacked by the AFU, and cameraman Yuri Sholmov was wounded. It was specified that the cameraman was taken to a local hospital after being wounded. His condition was assessed as satisfactory. At the same time, the Russian Investigative Committee (IC) said that a criminal case had been opened after the AFU attack on the journalists.
