Russian Medvedev reached the semifinals of the tennis tournament in Marseille

Russian tennis player and world number eight Daniil Medvedev defeated Jan-Lennard Struff from Germany and reached the semifinals of the ATP-250 (Association of Tennis Professionals) tournament. The meeting took place on February 14 in Marseille.

Medvedev defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-2 in the quarterfinals. The match lasted 1 hour and 18 minutes. The Russian made six aces, made three double faults and realized three out of eight break points, Sport-Express reported.

The Russian tennis player will play either Hamad Medjedovic of Serbia or Daniel Altmaier of Germany to reach the final.
