Papin has trained with Kostya Tszyu ahead of his fight with Tetteh

IBF International world champion and WBA Asia champion belt holder Alexey Papin on Friday, February 14, held a training session with former absolute world boxing champion Konstantin Tszyu before his fight with his Ghanaian opponent, WBA Africa and WBA Pan Africa champion Ebenezer Tetteh.
Papin said that the legendary boxer has been an example for him since childhood.
"I couldn't even imagine it (training with Tszyu - Ed.). When Konstantin entered the ring, I was still a child, watching these fights. <...> I remember when he told me: the best punches are straight," the athlete shared.
Tszyu, in turn, noted that Papin performed well in the unusual tasks within the training.
The fight between Papin and Tetteh will be held on February 28 as part of a new tournament "Fight Club REN TV", which will be held in Yoshkar-Ola in the Ice Palace "Mari El". Also Igor Sviridchenkov and Roniel Iglesias will enter the ring, and Sergey Sergeyev will fight in a fight against Jorge Manuel Soto.
On February 7, the two fighters from Cuba recorded a video message to Russians before their bouts at the REN TV Fight Club tournament. Iglesias himself, in turn, addressed his Russian opponent Igor Sviridchenkov and promised that the fight would be exciting.
