The former first deputy governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra has been detained on suspicion of bribery. This was reported on Friday, February 14, by the Investigative Committee of Russia.

It is noted that a criminal case was initiated against him.

"He is suspected of committing a crime under part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (receipt of a bribe on a particularly large scale)," - reported the agency in Telegram.

According to the investigation, the suspect received a bribe of at least 7.5 million rubles for facilitating actions in the interests of a group of persons and the management company represented by them.

"The figure gave illegal instructions to the head of one of the municipalities of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra about assistance in the organization of the transition of apartment buildings for service in the specified management company and general patronage of this organization", - told the details in the IC.

On February 3, the court arrested Alexei Ionov, deputy head of Dmitrov district of Moscow region, in the case of taking a bribe on a particularly large scale. According to the agency, Svetlana Oberchuk and Sergei Dubkov are the bribe-givers in the case.
