A photo taken during Trump's arrest was hung in the White House

In the White House hung a photo of US President Donald Trump, which was taken at his arrest in Georgia. This was reported by the Daily Mail on February 14.

"The photo of President Donald Trump is placed in a frame and hangs right outside the Oval Office," the publication writes.

It is specified that the picture was noticed during the meeting between Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The publication notes that Trump's decision to hang the photo ensures that anyone who enters the room will remember how far the US president has come since that day.

In August 2023, Trump was taken into custody and registered on the court rolls of the Atlanta County Jail on a charge of conspiracy to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, arraigned Aug. 3 by the District of Columbia Circuit Court. Trump then posted $200,000 bail and was released; he spent about 20 minutes inside the jail walls.

In November 2024, after Trump won the election, the charges in the federal cases against him on illegal possession of classified documents and election interference were dropped. The trial in another case - on election interference in the state of Georgia - was suspended.
