The average price of a new crossover in Russia has become known

The average price of a new car in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs) in Russia in January 2025 amounted to 3.2 million rubles. It turned out that the interest in this class of cars among Russians increased by 48.4% compared to January 2024, experts from Avito Auto told Izvestia on February 15.

The top five most popular brands in the SUV segment are Haval (15.9% of the total interest), Chery (11.7%), Geely (7.3%), Lada (7.1%) and Jetour (5.7%). Jetour brand demonstrated the most serious growth dynamics among the brands: interest to it grew almost three times over the year.

Haval Jolion is the leader in the rating of the most popular models with the share of 5.4% of the total interest of users. Next are Moskvich 3, Lada Niva Legend, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Omoda C5. Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, Jetour Dashing, Haval H7, Lada Niva Travel and Haval M6 completed the top ten. The most dynamically growing interest in Haval F7: the indicator increased by 4.7 times over the year.

February 13, it became known that in 2024 in the Russian market the number of models of new cars of various brands available for purchase reached 1.1 thousand units. The largest in sales volume was the segment of crossovers and SUVs C-class (SUV C) with a result of 397.8 thousand units.
