The man who attacked two women in the temple in Podolsk was taken into custody


The court has remanded in custody until April 13 a man who attacked two temple attendants in Podolsk. This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region in Telegram-channel on February 14.
It is specified that he was charged with committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism committed with the use of violence against citizens and an object used as a weapon"), Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery, i.e. an attack with the aim of stealing other people's property, committed with the use of violence").
Theincident became known on February 13. The intruder, according to preliminary information, hit two servants of the temple several times with a plastic pipe. After that, he broke the glass on the icon, tore posters, and stole money from the box with donations. Then he fled, but law enforcement officers found him on hot tracks and detained him. Later, a criminal case was opened.
