More than 12.5 million people will visit Moscow's Zaryadye Park in 2024

More than a thousand sightseeing, historical and landscape tours, 25 exhibitions and several major urban events were held in Zaryadye Park in 2024. For example, it became the site of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030", introducing guests to the cultural life of the city, said Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"Over the year "Zaryadye" was visited by more than 12.5 million people. Among them are residents of the capital, tourists from different regions of Russia and representatives of other countries, including China, Serbia, Turkey, India, Ethiopia and Thailand," she said.

In June, almost 34 thousand spectators visited the Moscow Jazz Festival, organized by the Igor Butman Foundation. Another 270 thousand watched online broadcasts of concerts.

Also in early summer, the park hosted "Theater Weekend" dedicated to the works of Pushkin, Okudzhava, Shukshin and others. The event was attended by the Russian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, creative teams of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater and other institutions. Their performances, including online, were seen by about 400 thousand people.

The largest event of the year was the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030". From August 1 to September 8, the park was turned into a thematic site "Cultural City". The stage program brought together more than 4.5 thousand artists, including 31 orchestras. The diversity of the capital's cultural sphere was presented to 2.1 million residents and guests of the city, including delegations from three dozen countries.

Exhibition projects covered all exposition areas of Zaryadya: the art space "Parking Gallery", the underground museum, the Old English Court and the hall in the pavilion "Media Center". During the year, paintings and sculptures of famous artists, costumes and props from movies, photos and videos from all over the world and other things were presented here. Interest in the park's expositions tripled compared to 2023. In 2024, they were visited by more than 470 thousand people.
