The media has learned about the vulnerability of Ilon Musk's agency website

The website of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), created to document the work of the team of entrepreneur and head of the department, Ilon Musk, was vulnerable to anyone wishing to edit it. The Verge reported on February 14.
"Two web development experts reported the security vulnerability after discovering that doge.gov extracts information from a database that can be accessed and updated by third parties by sending unauthorized entries to a running website," the material stated.
In addition, the publication specifies that the specialists managed to add some of their own files on the site Musk through this vulnerability.
Also interviewed by the publication, the developers said that the site seemed to them "molded on a hastily made" and, apparently, does not work on government servers, contrary to the banner, which states that this is "the official website of the United States Government."
Earlier on February 12, NBC News reported that U.S. leader Donald Trump signed an executive order expanding Musk's authority over his DOGE activities. On February 8, it became known that New York and 18 other states sued the administration of the American President because of the DOGE program, accusing him of unauthorized access to federal systems.
