Annual inflation will peak in April-May. This was stated by the head of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina during a press conference on the key rate on Friday, February 14.

"The indicator of annual inflation depends on how much will come out of the base of last year. And, according to our estimates, somewhere will be in April-May," - said the head of the Central Bank.

In addition, she specified that the current inflation will begin to slow down in the near future. According to the Central Bank forecasts, by the end of this year, the current inflation will amount to 7-8%, summarized Nabiullina.
