In the Rostov region, a woman was sentenced to 13 years for treason


Rostov regional court announced the verdict of Russian citizen Yevgenia Ryabova, who is accused of high treason, sentencing her to 13 years of general regime colony. This was reported in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Rostov region on February 14.
According to the investigation, in January 2023 Ryabova was in contact with a representative of the intelligence services of Ukraine. In addition, she transmitted in messenger information about the location of military facilities that could be used against the security of Russia.
It is noted that she was found guilty under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High Treason"). The woman was sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment with serving in a penal colony of general regime and restriction of freedom for one year.
Earlier, February 10, a resident of Kursk region Maxim Moskalev was sentenced to 20 years in prison on the case of state treason and sabotage. It is noted that the defendant pleaded guilty and expressed regret for what he had done.
