Poland and the USA could send their commercial firms to Ukraine rather than troops. This was stated on Friday, February 14, by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysz.

"This is Poland's role and it needs to be developed - logistical security, not sending troops to Ukraine. What we can do is to send our companies with the United States in the format of Joint venture (Business partnership in which participants achieve a common goal. - Ed.) to Ukraine," he said during a joint conference with U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. His words are quoted by Polish portal Niezalezna.

He noted that companies investing in the defense industry should be located on Ukrainian territory. In his opinion, this will ensure the security of Ukraine and NATO.

On February 14, US Vice President J.D. Vance admitted sending the US military to the Ukrainian territory and new sanctions against Russia in case of "bad faith negotiations" with the Russian Federation. For his part, Kremlin spokesman Dmitriy Peskov described his statement as a new element of the position that Washington had not told Moscow about.
