In 2024, 10 new parking lots with a barrier will start operating in the capital city

10 new city parking lots with barriers started working in the capital in 2024, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow City Government for Transport and Industry. New parking lots have been arranged near metro stations, MCC, MCD and other places of attraction for motorists.

Thus, eight intercepting parking lots appeared at the metro stations "Krylatskoe", "Kaluzhskaya", "Sviblovo", "Tushinskaya", "Fiztech", "Nekrasovka", as well as at the ICC stations Ostafievo and Kokoshkino. Two more parking lots with a barrier opened at the addresses: Poklonnaya St., 11A and Testovskaya St., 1.

"On the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, we are developing the parking infrastructure to make the city more convenient for users of both personal and public transport. We will continue to expand the network of parking lots with a barrier, as they are very popular among the city residents", - Maxim Liksutov noted.

Today in the capital more than 160 city parking lots with a barrier are already functioning. More than 100 of them are intercepting parking lots near the stations of the rail frame. You can leave your car there for free if you transfer to the subway, MCC or MCD and make at least two trips starting from the station nearest to the parking lot.

According to the Transport Program until 2030, which was approved by the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, by 2030 it is planned to organize more than 150 thousand places in intercepting parking lots in Moscow and cities of the Moscow region to create a single transport space between the regions.
