A shelter for homeless dogs burned down in Elets, Lipetsk Region. The fire broke out in the utility room of the shelter in the Olshanets microdistrict.

In the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region GOROD48 told GOROD48 that the fire damaged the interior of the room on an area of 30 square meters. m. The fire was extinguished by three departments of the rescue service.

Whether there are casualties, it was not reported. There's no data yet on what caused the fire.

Earlier on January 11 in Belgorod region there was a fire on the territory of the zoo in the farm Chumaki, during which six zebras died.
