A mistake in the name of the cultural heritage site, where the duel between Russian poet Alexander Pushkin and Georges Dantes took place, will be corrected in the near future. This is reported on February 14 on the website of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

"According to the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Sergey Obryvalin, the necessary documents - the act of the state historical and cultural expertise on the introduction of changes in the register in terms of the name "The place where the duel of the poet Alexander Pushkin with Dantes E. took place on January 27, 1837.", as well as documents confirming the correction of the error in the name of the object - will arrive in the Ministry of Culture of Russia, as well as in the government within the next week", - stated in the statement of the department.
